Our Prophet Muhammad salla alayhi wa sallam Will Witness Over His Nation

 He is a witness over his nation. He will witness that he conveyed and explained Allah´S Message to them and also warned them. He did not leave any good except that he guided them to it or any evil but he warned them against it as Allah says,

How (will it be) then, when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O Muhammad salla alayhi wa sallam) as a witness against these people. (Surah An-Nisaa: 41)

Allah also says,

and the Messenger a witness over you. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 143)

From his mercy and love for his ummah is that the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam remembered his witnessing over his nation on the Day of Qiyaamah and he wept till his tears fell onto his noble face. May my father, my mother and my soul be sacrificed for hom. Abdullah Ibn Masood sat with him one day and he (the Prophet) said to him, Recite (the Qur´an) to me.´´ Ibn Masood said, Shall I recite it to you although it bad been revealed to you? He said, I like to hear (the Qur´an) from others.´´ So I recited surat-un-Nisa´ till I reached,

How (will it be) then when We bring from each nation a witness, and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people?´´ (Surah An-Nisaa: 41)

Then he said, ´´stop!´´ (Ibn Masood said), ´´I turned to him and behold, his eyes were overflowing with tears. ´´187

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
