Our Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam and His Nation Will Witness Over Other Nations

 Allah sent His Messengers from His mercy, who were gives of glad tidings and warners to the creation. Some of those to whom the messengers were sent denied and turned away while others were rightly guided. When the Messenger and their communities meet in the presence of the Majestic and the Wise (Allah) on the Day of Judgment, they will be as Allah says,

Then surely, We shall question those (people) to whom it (the Book) was sent and verily, We shall question the Messengers. Then surely, We shall narrate unto them (their whole story) with knowledge, and indeed We were not absent. (Surah Al-A´raf: 6-7)

When the people deny that the Messengers sent to them conceyed them the message, our Prophet Muhammad salla alayhi wa sallam and his ummah will witness for the messengers that they conveyed the message to their respective people. This is as the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said,

Nuh will be brought (before Allah) on the Day of Resurrection, and will be asked, Did you convey the message of Allah? He will reply, ´Yes, O Lord.´ And then Nuh´s nation will be asked, Did he (Nuh) convey Allah´s message to you? They will reply, ´No warner came to us. ´Then Nuh will be asked, Who are your witnesses? He will reply, (My witnesses are? Muhammad and his followers. Theeupon you (Muslims) will be brought and you will bear witness.´ Then the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam recited, ´And thus We have made of you (Muslims) a just and the best nation, that you might be witness over the natins, and the Messenger a witness over you. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 143). ´ ´´285

The nation of Muhammad will be witnesses over the people on the Day of Resurrection. In another narration, the ummah of Muhammad will witness for all the prophets against their respective nations. He said,

A Prophet will come on the Day of Judgment along with a man, another will come with two men and more. His people will be called and it will be said to them, ´Did this (prophet), Who will witness for you? He will say, Muhammad and his nation´ and the nation of Muhammad will be called and it will be said, ´Did this (prophet) convey (Allah´s Message)?´´ They will say, `Yes.´ He (Allah) will say, ´How did you know that? ´They will say, Our Prophet informed us that the Prophet conveyed, so we believe it to be true.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
