Proofs on The Affirmation of The Scale

 Allah says,

And We shall set up balance of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealth with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We as Reckoners. (Surah Al-Anbiyaa: 47)

Allah also says,

Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. Then, those whose scale (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their own selves, in Hell will they abide.´´ (Surah Al-Mu´minun: 101-103)

The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said,

Two are the expressions which are light on the tongue, but heavy in the scale, dear to Ar-Rahman (the Compassionate One), Subhaana´llah wa bihamdihi, subhaana´llah il-´Atheem (Glory be to Allah and praise is due to Him; glory be to Allah, the Great). ´´´192

He (Allah´s Messenger) also said concerning Abdullah Ibn Masood´s Legs, they will be heavier on the scale (on the Day of qiyaamah) than the weight of Mount Uhud?´´193A full version of the hadith will be quoted in the subsequent pages. The hadith of al-Bitaaqah (slip) which is recorded in at-Tirmidhi and others will also be quoted in full in the following pages.

 None will be saved on the Day of Resurrection except he who used to worship alah alone with Whom there is no associate. As for the other gods, they will lead their adherents into the Fire.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
