The Person Who Beat Others

 Whoever transgressed against another person by beating him, revenge will be exacted from him in a similar manner of the Day of Judgment. This is as the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, No one will beat (another) slave with a ship wrongfully except that reprisal would be exacted from him on the Day of Resurrevtion. 174

Umm Salamah the wife of the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said, The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam was in my house and he had a miswak in his hand. He called his (or her) maidservant till the sign of anger showed on his face. Then I went out to the courtyard and found the maidservant playing with an animal. So I said, You are playing with the animal while the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam had been calling you? She said, By Him who sent you with the truth, I did not hear you! The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, If it were not for my fear of retaliation (in the Hereafter) I would caused you pain with this miswak.

So, if this is the fear of Allah´s Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam while he a Prophet of Allah, what should then be the lot of other people?

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
