The Presentation and Accounting
After the slaves have received their records, at that point, the deeds and their account will be presented followed by subsequent events of the weighing of the deeds, passing over the Bridge, Paradise or Hell.
What is the Presentation?
What will be presented?
What is the situation of the slave in the course of presentation?
Introduction
The presentation has two meanings:
The Presentation of The Entire Creation to Their Lord
This particular presentation does not involve accounting or disputation over the deeds. Rather, it is merely a standing in the presence of the King, Exalted and Mighty be He. Everyone will be presented to Him - man, jinn and animals. All of them will be presented to Him just as He created them the first time; not one of them will be able to hide from him. This is as Allah said,
That Day shall you be brought to Judgment, not a secret of you will be hidden. (Surah Al-Haaqah: 18)
Allah also says,
And they will be set before your Lord in (lines as) rows, (and Allah will say): Now indeed, you have come to Us as We Created you the first time. Nay, But you thought that We had appointed no meeting for you (With Us). (Surah Al-Kahf: 48)
Presentation and accounting
In this presentation, the deeds will be scrutinized, the slave will be questioned, How did you respond to the Messengers? What did you use to do? The situation will be precarious for them, feet will sway, children will grow gray hairs and tongues will be tide as Allah says,
Verily, to Us will be their return; then verily, for Us will be their reckoning. (Surah Al-Ghaashiyah: 25-26)
The Meaning of Accounting
Al-Hisaab means counting and computation. From Alla´s justive is that He will call the slave to account on the Day of resurrection. The one who worked and sought nearness to Allah is not the same as the one who disobeyed and turned away from allah. The count of everyone´s deeds is kept and under watch.
