The Rights of Animals

From Allah´s justice and perfection of His Wisdom among His creation is that Allah does not restore mutual rights among human beings alone. the animals will also retalitate against one another. This is Allah´s Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam said,

Rights will be restored to their respective owners, so much so that the hornless sheep will get its right from the horned sheep.

Hence, judgment will be delivered between human beings and the animals as well. Whoever harmed an animal in the world, he will be judged and punished on the Day of Resurrection. This is as Allah´s Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam said,

A woman was tortured and was put in Hell because of a cat which she had kept tied up till it died of hunger. She neither fed it not watered it, rather, she locked it up and did not set it free to eat the vermin of the earth.

This is the epitome of justice and equity. Allah will judge between slaves and He will aid the oppressed against the oppressor. Rights will be restored to their respective owners. The one who was robbed will get his right back from the robber and the weak will get his own from the strong.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
