The Second Principle: No One Will be Held For The Crime of Another
The intent of justice is for everyone to be responsible for his own actions and what his hands have wrought. No one will be held for the wrongddoing or sin of another. Allah says,
No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the bruden of another. Then unto your Lord is your return, so He will tell you that wherein you have been Differing. (Surah Al-An´am: 164)
He also says,
Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his own self. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loos. No one laden with burdens can bear another´s burden. And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning). (Surah Al-Israa: 15)
Allah says,
Or is he nor informed with what is in the Pages (Svripture) of Musa (Musa), And of Ibraheem (Abraham) who fulfiled (or conveyed) all that (What Allah ordered him to do or convey). That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the buden (sins) of another, And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad), and that his deeds will be seen, Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. (Surah An-Najm: 36-41)
If a man will not be helt accountable except for his own deeds, what is the proper response to the following statement of Allah,
They will bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Evil indeed is that which they shall bear! (Surah An-Nahl_ 25)
And the following statement:
And verily, they shall bear their own loads, and pther beside their own. (Surah Al-Ankabut: 13)
Allah informs us in these verses that some will bear the burden of others, how could that be?
Answer: If a man had a part is misleading another and deliberately facilitated his corruption, for instance such as leading him to drink intoxicants, or he directed him to a location of depravity or he adorned for him forbidden relationship with women, then he will be helt responsible for the curruptin influence he had over that person, his encouraging and inviting him to sin. Hence he will bear a similar burden of that person´s sin, This is as Allah´s Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam said,
whoever calls to guidance he will have the same reward as those who follow him without diminishing their rewards at all. And whoever calls to error will have the same burdens as those who follow him without diminishing their burdens at all.
Yes, whoever was a corruption influence over a person bears the same burden of sin as the one he has corrupted. Similarly, whoever invited others to good will obtain the same reward, in full, as those ha had invited. Glory be to Allah the Wise and the Just, the Might and the Most High.
