Their Relics

Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footstep and welking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah´s Cause) and all lother good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind, and all things We have recorded with numbers )as record) in a Clear Book. (Surah YaaSin: 12)

This is what our Lord says in His decription of the people´s situation and actions. Whatever he sent forth before his death will be recorded and the effect of his deeds which survives him all also be recorded.

The accounting will be menticulous sins all that the slave did before his death will be present in his front as well as all that he left behind after his death. If he had bequeathed a copy of the Qur´an as an endowment, dug a well, dredged a river, supported an orphan, spread knowledge or left behind a righteous child, all of that will remain and they will be reckoned for him as his righteous deeds even after his demise.

similarly, whoever left behind something prohibited such as the one who died and left behind a shop where intoxicants are sold, or a night club, or a satellite channel that broadcasts corruption or an evil book, will also have those evil consequences recorded against him.

The person will find all of these in his presence. This is Alla says,

On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil on good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds], though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). (Surah Al-Qiyaamah: 13-15)

However inconsewuential a man considered a sin in the world, he will consider it enormous on the Day of resurrection.

Be careful about belittling sins for the similitude of belittling sin is like a people who camped at the centre of a valley and each one of them broguth a stick and another brought a stick till they gathered what would bake their bread with. If the one who belittles sins is held for it, it will destory him.
