Cinfinement of the Disbelievers in the Fire

 That is, the Fire will encircle them from above and from below them. Allah says:

´´On the Day when the torment /(Hellfire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: ´ taste what you used to do.´´´ (Al-Ankabut: 55)

Punishment will cover and encircle them on all side - from above and underneath their feet, from their right and left - and they will be rebuked and reproached: ´´Taste the punishment to which you evil deeds have broguth you.++

In  another place Allah says:

´´They shall have covering of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this allah does frighten His slaves: ´O My slaves, therefore fear Me´´´ (Az-Zumar: 16)

Allah says:

´´They ask you to hasten on the torment, And verily! Hell of a surety, will encompass the disbeliever.´´ (Al-Ankabut: 54)

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
