Garments and Bedding of the Denizens of Hell

 The denizens of Hell will weat cloth, eat, drink and will haeve bedding. However, their cloths, food, drink and beds shall be fire - a form of punishment and retribution.

What is the nature of the garment?

How will they wear it?

What will be their bed and their quilit?

Introduction

Al-Haqq (Allah) informed us that a clock of fire would be made for the denixens of Hellfire and they will be sandwiched by fire above and below them. Allah says: ´´..as for those who disbelieve, garment of fire will be cut our for the, and boiling water will be poured down over their heads.´´ (Al-Hajj: 19)

The garment will be cut to their sizes. Extremely hot water will be pourred on their heads; it will burn their faces and bodies and it will shatter their intestines.

They will vary in their length of Garment

The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´One of the will be sized by the Fire up to his ankel; another will be sized by the Fire up to his knee; one of them will be sizes by the Fire up to his loins. One of them will be sized by the Fire up to his shoulder.´´122

The prophet salla alayhi wa sallam also said:

´´Among my people there are four truits beloning to the pre-Islamic period which they do not abondon: boasting of high rank, reviling other peoples´ generalogies, seeking rain by stars, and wailing over the dead. If the wailing woman does not repent before she dies, she will be made to stand og the Day of Resurrection wearing a garment of pitch and a coat of mange.´´123

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
