Its Fuel

Stones and effusion of the kuffar are the main fuel of the Fire.Alah says:

´´O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.++ (At-Tahreem: 6)

He also says:

´´Then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.´´ (Al-Baqarah: 24)

The intimidation in this is not obscured since the Fire will be fulled and kindled by these things. The stones that will be fuel for the Fire are from the black brimstones in the Hellfire and other types of hot and combustible stones.

Among the fuel for the Fire are the idols which were worshipped besides Allah. Allah says:

´´Vertainly! You (disbelievers) and that which you are worshipping now besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! (Surely), you will enter it. Had these (idols, etc.) been aliha (gods), they would not have entered there (Hell), and all of them will abide therein. Therein breathing out with deep sighs and roaring will be their portion, and therein they wil hear not.´´ Al-Anbiyaa: 89-100)

the noble verse means that on the Day of Resurrection, the disbelievers who worshipped other than Allah will be fuel for the Fire, along with their verious deities made of stones and other materials.

Why will idols enter the Fire when they arer just inanimate objects without intellect and did no wrong?

The answer is that Allah will cast the idols into the Fire not to be punished but to demostrate the falsehood of those who took them as object of worship; so that they may behold the object which they had formerly held in awe and veneration and from which the had exppected benefit. When they behold their lords in Hell with them, their torment and sense of loss would be heightened.

Deities that were worshipped in the world include Masih Eesa ibn Maryam and angels which some kuffaar purportedly worshipped; will they also be present in Hellfire?!

The answer is that Prophet of Allah, Maish Eesa ibn Maryam, Allah´s Prophet ´Uzayr and the angels and their likes from those who were worshipped among the awliyaa and righteous personalities will neither be punished in the Fire nor will they enter it. Following this statement:

´´Vertainly! You (disbelievers) and that which you are worshipping now besides Allah, are (but) for Hell! (surely), you will enter it.´´ (Al-Anbiyaa: 98)

Allah says:

´´Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed for therefrom (Hell) [e.g. ´lesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); ´Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell), while they abide in that which their own selves desire.´´ (Al-Anbiyaa: 101-102)

These are the fuel of the Fire, we beseech Allah to safeguard us from it and protect us from its evil heat - Ameen.
