The Fire will Reach their Hearts

 The denizens of the Fire will swwell into a massive size and despite that, the pangs of the fire will penetrate their bodies until it reaches their hearts. allah says:

´´Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? The fire of allah, kindled, which leaps up over the hearts. (al-Humazah: 4-7)

The phrase ´leap up over the hearts´ means that the Fire will eat through their bodies up to their hearts; and when it reaches the hearts, their from will be recreated.

Allah says:

´´I will cast him into Hellfire and what will make you know exactly what Hell fire is? It spares not (any sinner), nor does it leave (anything unburnt). Burning the skins!´´ (Al-Muddaththir: 26:29)

The sentence: ´It spares not (any sinner), nor does it leave (anything unburnt)´ means that the Fire will consume their bones, flesh and brain.

The prophet salla alayhi wa sallam gave an indication of this when he said:

´´He who killed himself with steel (weapon) will be the eternal resident of the Fire of Hell and he will have that weapon in his hand and will be thrusting that innhis stomach forever and ever. He who drank posion and killed himself will sip that in theFire of Hell where he is doomed forever and ever; and he who killed himself by falling from (the top of) a mountain will constantly fall in the Fire of Hell and will live there forever and ever.´´128

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
