The Prophet will be on the Bridge Praying for his Ummah

 People crossing the Bridge will be affected by the deeds they had performed in the world. Some of them will pass like the flight of brids. Some like wind, and lighting. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam will be standing on the siraat saying: ´´O Allah! save us. O Allah save us.´´

The prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said:

´´And the first of you will pass with (the swiftness) of lightning; then like the passing fo the wind, then like the passing of a bird, and the hastening of persons would be according to their deeds, and your Prophet will be standing on the Path saying: Save, O my Lord, save. (the people will go on passing) until the deeds of the servants will be failing in strength, until a man will come who will find is hard to go along (that Path) except by crawling.´´67

 None will be saved on the Day of Resurrection except he who used to worship alah alone with Whom there is no associate. As for the other gods, they will lead their adherents into the Fire.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
