Who are the Jahannamiyun and will anyone come out of Hell after entering it?

 The answer to this query is that the Jahannamiyun are a group of people among the monotheists but who are also guilty of some sins for which they were casted into the Fire. They will be punished in it as long as Allah wishes and then they will be brought out of it. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said:

´´Allah will bring out some people among the believers from the Fire after He has visited them with His anger and punishment.´´ He added: ´´While Allah casted them into the Fire along with the mushrikeen, they (the mushrikoon) will say: ´Did you not use to claim in the world that you were the friends of Allah? How come you are in the Fire alongside us?´ Then the angels and the Prophets will intercede for then till they are brought out by Allah´s permission. When they are brought out, they (the mushrikoon) will say: ´Woe to us! We wish we were like then so that intercession would reach ud and that we may come out of the Fire.´ This is (the meaning of) the words of Allah:

´Perhaps (often) will those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslim.´´ (al-Hijr: 2).

So they (those redeemed from Hell) will be named jahannamiyun in Paradise due to a dark spot on their face. Then they will plead: ´O Lord, remove this name from us.´ So they will be commanded and they will take a bath in a river in al-Janah and that will also be removed from them.

The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam also said:

´´When allah has finished the judgment among His slaves, He willeintend to take out of the Fire whomever He wishes to take out from among those who used to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and did not associate any partner with Him. He will order the angels to take them out and the angels will recognize them in the Fire by the mark of the traces of prostration (on their foreheads); for the Fire will consume all of the body of Aadam´s son except the mark of the trace of prostration. Allah banned the Fire from consuming the traces prostration. So they will take them out after having been burnt (as cool), and then the water of Life (Maul Hayat) will be poured on them, and they will sprout like a seed sprouts on the bank of a rainwater stream.

The prophet salla alayhi wa sallam informed us that they will be named Jahannamiyun. He said:

´´Some people will be brought out of the Fire by the intercession of Muhammad and they will be admitted into the Paradise and tehy will be named Jahannamiyun.´´116

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
