Maryam, THe Daughter of ´Imran and Asiyah, the Daughter og Muzaahim
Both are righteous women from the preceding nations. Allah honoured them with eemaan, obedience to Ar´Rahman (Allah), patience upon trubulation and avidness for worshop and supplication.
As for Maryam, she was the mother of the prophet of Allah, Eesaa Allah mentioned har affair and prepetuated her story in the Qur´an.
Asiyah bint Muzaahim was the wife of Fir´aun. She persevered upon her faith despite the severity of the torture. She chose her neightbour before the house. She said:
´´My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir´aun (pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbeliever in Allah).´´ (At-Tahreem: 11)
Ibn Abbaas said: ´´The Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam once drew four lines and said: ´Do know what these are?´ The Companions said: ´Only Allah and His Messenger know best.´´ He said: ´The best of the women of Paradise are: Khadeejah bint Khurwalid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint ´Imran, Asiyah bint Muzaahim, the wife of Fir´aun.´´´
This is in addition to what allah relates to us in the Qur´an concerning her story:
´´And Allah has set forth an example for thise who belive, the wife of Fir´aun )pharaoh), when she said:´´ My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir´aun) (pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in Allah).´´ (At-Tahreem: 11)
Allah says concerning Asiyah bint Muzaahim and Maryam bint ´Imran (may Allah be pleased with them),
´´And allah has set forth an example for those who believe. the wife of Fir´aun (Pharaoh), when she said: ´My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir´aun (Pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in Allah).´ And Maryam (Mary), the dauther of ´Imran who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) though Our Ruh (i.e. Jabreel (Gabriel)], and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord [i.e. believed in the Words of Allah: ´´Be!´ and he was; that is Eesaa (Jesus) -Son of Maryam (Mary); as a Messenger of Allah], and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the wunitin (i.e. obedient to Allah).´´ (At-Tahreem: 11-12)
This is a lesson about the perseverance of a woman upon the truth. Even though she had to mix with disbelievers or she was under their authority her
Faith and piety protected her from being influenced by them or renouncing her religion in order to please them.
Asiyah, the wife of Fir´aun was a believing woman who was sincere to Allah, while Fir´aun, her husband, was a tyrantad oppessor. However, his wife was not harmed by the disbelief of her husband when she whose to obey her lord. This is so that people may know that Allah is Wise and Just; He does not hold someone responsible for the sin of another. The wife of Fir´aun asked her Lord to bring her vlose to His mercy, to build a house for her with Him in Paradise, to deliver her from Fir´aun and his evil actions and that He saves her from his oppressive chorts and Allah, the Exalted accepted her supplication and responded to her call.
allah drew another similitude for thise whi believe:
Maryam bint ´Imran who guarded her chastity, feared her Lord and Allah the Exalted, honoured her and her son, Eesaa, peace be upon him.
How excellent it would be today if our sisters, daughters and all out women emulated these types of women
