How will the People of Paradise Recognise their Abodes?

 Answer: The people of Paradise will recognise their chambers and residences upon entering Paradise even though they have never seen them before that time. Allah says;

´´So, when you meet (in fight; Jihad in Allah´s Cause), those disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. free them without ransom), Thereafter (is the time) either for genersosity (i.e. free them withou ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by allah to continue in carrying out jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hellfire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allah´s Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are  killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost. He Will guide them and set right their state. And admit them to Paradise which He has made known to them (i.e. they will know their places in Paradise more than they used to know their houses in the world).´´ (Muhammad: 4-6)

That is, Allah will not nullify the reward or render vain the deeds of martyrs who were killed in the path of Allah; rather, Allah will admit them into Paradise in the Hereafter soon. Then they will recognise their residences in Paradise once they enter it.

The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said:

´´The believers, after being saved from the (Hell) Fire, will be stopped at a bridge between Paradise and Hell and mutual retaliation will be established among them regarding wrongs they have committed in the world against one another. After they are cleansed and purified (through the retaliation), they will be admitted into Paradise; and by Him in Whose Hand Muhammad´s soul is, everyone of them will know his dwelling in Paradise better than he knew his dwelling in this world.´´203

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
