The One Disobedient to Their Parents

 Disobedience to parents is a great sin which is distasteful. Allah has appended the right of the parent to His own rights. Allah says:

And your Lord had decreed that you worship none but Him. And that´´ you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of distespect, nor shout at them but (adress them in terms of honour.´´ (Al-Israa: 23)

Allah also connects gratitude to the parent to gratitude to him. ´´And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his warning is in two uears. Give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination.´´ (Luqman: 14)

Dutifulness to parents is a path to attaining the bliss of both his lifespan be extended, let him connect his ties of kinship.´´210

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
