The One who Oppresses a Protectee

 A Mu´ahad is Jew or Christian living in the midst of Muslims and who has been given a guarantee of peace. It is not permissible to oppress him or belittle his right.

´´Verily, whoever deals unjustly with a protectee, humiliates him, burdens him beyond his ability or takes from him without his pleasure, I shall of Allah pointed to his chest and said: ´´Be warned, whoever kills a protectee who is under the protection of Allah and protection of His Messenger, Allah will forbid for him the gragrance of Paradise even though its fragrance can perceived from the distance of seventy khareef. ´´209

Al-Khareef is originally a division of time and it applies to a whole year.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
