Their drinks will be pure

 Allah says:

´´And their Lord will give them a pure drink.´´ (Al-Insaan: 21)

Allah will given them a pure drink that will purify the inner recess of the drinker from envy, malice, spite and descricable character. Hence, He describes the drinks as pure unlike the intoxicant of the world which polltes with its foul smell.

Abdullah said: ´´A man from the people of Paradise will be given a cup of drink while he is with his wife. He will drinkt it after which he will turn to his wife and he will say: ´You have increased in beauty in my eyes seventy times over.´´220

Abu Umaamah said: ´´A man from the dwellers of Paradise will have his fill of a drink from the drinks of Paradise. The drink-jug will drop in his hand and after he has drunk from it, it will return to its place. ´´221

These drinks will gush forth from the springs of Paradise. So what are the springs of Paradise? How sweet will they be?

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
