There are One Hundred Levels in Paradise

 The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam informed us that there are one hundred levels in Paradise and between them there are great differences. He said:

´´Whoever believers in Allah and His Messenger, offers prayer perfectly and asts the months of Ramadan, will rightfully be granted Paradise by allah, no matter whether he fights in Allah´s Cause or remains in the land where he was born.´´ The people said: ´´O Allah´s Messenger! Shall we inform the people about this good news?´´ He said: ´´Paradise has one-hundred grades which Allah has reserved for the Mujahidin who fight in HIs Cause, and the distance between each of the two grades is like the distance between the HEaven and the Earth. So, when you ask Allah (for something), ask for Al-Firdaus; which is the best and highest part of Paradise; above it (i.e. Al-Firdaus) is the Throne of the Beneficent (i.e. Allah) and from ir orginate the rivers of Paradise.´´194

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
