Trees and Fruits of Paradise
Greenery and hades are from the perfection of a beautiful location which delight the sight, thrill the heart and mind.
Allah has described the trees, shades, grenenery, spendour, delecation and bliss of Paradise in a most wonderful and beautiful description. He says:
´´And those on the Right Hand, - Who will be those on the Right Hand ? They will be) armong thornless lote-trees, among talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, in shade long-extended.´´ (Al-Qaaqi´ah: 27-30)
Allah also says:
´´With spreading branches.´´ (Ar-Rahman: 48)
And
´´In them (both) will be fruits, and date-palms and pomegranates.´´ (ar-Rahman: 68)
The trees of Paradise are verdant shades and they are watered with
fresh water. Their sight is delightful and their taste is delectable. Their shade is long-extended. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said:
´´There is a tree in Paradise (which is so big and huge that) a rider could travel in its shade for a hundred years without coming to its end. And if you wish, you can recite: ´In shade long-extended.´ (56-30)´´213
When Al-Baraa´a ibn Aazib read the following verse.
´´And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruits thereof will hang low within their reach,´´ (Al-Insaan: 14)
He said: ´´The dwellers of Paradise will be able to eat the fruits of Paradise while standing, sitting, reclining or in any posture they may wish. ´´214
