The Saying of Allah: ´´And was at a distance of about two bows length or (even) nearer.´´

 Ash-Shaibani said: I asked Zirr bin Hubaish regardingthe Verses: ´´And was at a distance of about two bows length or (even) nearer.´´(53-9) Ibn Mas´ud told me that the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam bad seen Jibril with six hundrede wings.

Abdullah bin abbas said (regarding the Verse): ´´The heart did not lied what he saw,´´ and ´´Certainly he saw Him in another descent,´´ (53-11,13) that he saw him twice with his mind´s eye.
