Why will Iblees be Punished in the Fire when he was Created from Fire?

 The source of Iblees´ creation is fire but his present state is not fire. Similarly, the source of the creation of human being is day but at the moment he is nt day. A human being may possibly be punished with day. If a man were to be submerged in day, it will suffocate and kill him. If a man were to be hit with day, he would feel pain and if he was pelted with solid day, it may even kill him. 150

In the same way, even though the source of Shaytaan´s creation is fire, he will still be punished in the Fire; because of the moment he is not fire, rather, he has a physical body with a mouth that contains saliva. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam was once praying and Shaytaan came to him to distrub his prayer and the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´I seek refuge in Allah from you.´´ Then he said. ´´I curse you with Allah´s curse,´´ three times. Then he stretched out his hand as though he was taking hold of something. When he finished the prayer, we said: ´´O Messenger of Allah, we heard you say something (during the prayer) which we have not heard you say before, and we saw you stretch out your hand. He replied:

´Allah´s enemy Ibless came with a flame of fire to put it in my face, so I said tree times: ´I seek refuge in Allah from you. ´Then I said three times. ´I curse you with Allah´s full curse. But he did not retreat (on any one of these three occasions). ´Thereafter the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallamm seized him with his hand and strangulated him. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam added: ´Till I could feel the coldness of his tongue on my hand. Had it not been for the supplication of my brother Sulayman he would have been bound for people to see.´´´ 151

This hadith is evidence that jinn and shaytaan in their current state are not fire. Were they fire, the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam would not have felt the coldness of the tongue of Shaytaan on his hand. Similarly, if he is fire how would the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam have been able to bind him to a pillar of the mosque for people to see? The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam also said: ´´Shaytaan runs in the body of man like the circulation of blood.´´ If Shaytaan was fire, he would burn man since he runs inside him.
