Al-Kauthar is the Biggest River in Paradise

Al-Kauthar is an attribute that indcates intensiveness of abundance. It is a river that feeds the Hawdh with water.

What is the description of the water of Al-Kauthar?

What are the decriptio of the pleasure and enjoyment it offers?

There are a number ahadith describing the river of Al-Kauthar in the same manner as that of Al-Hawdh. This caused some people of knowledge to conclude that the Al-Kauthar that is meant in the following verse of the Qur´an.

´´Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad) (Peace be upon him)) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise).´´ is Al-Hawdh.

What is apparent is that Al-Hawdh will be on the plain of Resurrection on the Day of Qiyaamah but Al-Kauthar is a river in Paradise. The connection between the Hawdh and this river is that Al-Kauhar flows into the Hawdh and irrigates it. Hence, it is as if Al-Hawdh is a part and extension of Al-Kauthar; this is why they share the same attributes.
