When will the people of Paradise see Allah?

 Answer: The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam once recited the following Words of Allah:

´´FOr those who have done good is the best (reward, i.e. Paradise) and even more (i.e. having the honour of glancing at the Countenance of allah).´´ (Yunus: 26)

Whereupon he said:

´´When those deserving of Paradise will have entered Paradise and those deserving Hell will have entered Hell, an amouncer will amounce: ´O people of Paradise, you have a covenant with Allah which He words to fulfil for you.´ They will say: ´What could it be? Has He not made our scale (of righteous deeds= heavy, brightened our faces, made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire? Whereupo the veil will be lifted for them and they will behold Allah, and of things given to them nothing would be dearer to them than the sight of Him and that is ´the more´ (That was promised them).´´258

 None will be saved on the Day of Resurrection except he who used to worship alah alone with Whom there is no associate. As for the other gods, they will lead their adherents into the Fire.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
