Women in Paradise

 Paradise is a perfect comfort for both men and women. Allah says:

´´Allah has promised to the believers - men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of ´Adn (Eden Paradise), But the greatest bliss the Good Pleasure of Allah. That is the supreme success.´´ (At-Taubah: 72)

Several ahadith have described the handsomeness of the men of Paradise so that the believers´ personal comfort and appearance may be perfected and so that their wives in Paradise may also derive comfort from them. Similarly other ahadith describe the comfort and beauty of the believing women of Paradise so that her spouse may derive comfort by her.

What are the attributes of the women of Paradise?

Will the shapes of the believing women change in Paradise?

Who will be greater in status between the believing women from the world or the Hoor al-´Ayn?

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
