Blowing of The Trumpet

 The blowing of the Trumpet is the first of the events of the establishment of the Hour, the Transformation of the universe and tumult of the world.

What is the Trumpet and who will blow into it?

How many times will the Trumpet be blowing and what will happen at each blowing?

Will all of the creatures be swooned?

Proofs of The Blowing of The Trumpet

The blowing of the Trumpet is real and will be heard by all the creatures and they will be overwhelmed by the fright and shicj of the great matter. The Quran and Sunnah point to the fact of the blowing of the Trumpet,

And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, those whom Allah wills. Then it will blown a second time and behold, they will be standing, looking on (wating). (Surah Az-Zumar: 68)

Allah says,

And (remember) the Day on which the Trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth, will be terrified except him whom Allah will (exempt). And all shall come to Him humbled. (Surah An-Naml: 87)

Allah the Exalted also says,

And the Trumpet will be blow (i.e. the second blowing) and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord. (Surah YaaSin: 51)

The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said

Then The Trumpet will be blown and on one will hear that but he will bend his neck to one side and raise if from the other side. The first on to hear the Trumpet will be the person who would be busy in repearing the tank meant for providing water to the camels. He will swoon and the other people will also swoon.

The Number of Times The Trumpet Will be Blown

Israfeel will blow in the Trumpet two massive blowings. This is the blowing of terror and swooning. It is the one by which all the lives of creatures will be taken and the entire universe will be destroyed. By this blowing, manking, jinn, angels, animals, birds, insects and everything will become extinct and nothing will remain except Allah, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Great and the Sublime.

The Second Blowing

This is the blowing of resurrection and the rising from the grave. By it all the dead will rise from their graves and resume life afresh. Allah has mentioned these two blowings and the events that will result from each of them. He says,

And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away hom whom Allah will. Then it will blown a second time and behold, they will be standing, looking on (Waiting) (Surah Az-Zumar: 68)

Also Allah describes the manner in which people will rise from their graves at the second blowing of the Trumpet. Allah says,

And the Trumpet will blow (i.e. the second blowing) and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord. (Surah YaaSin: 51)

Alla has named the first blowing Ar-Raajifah and the second Ar-Raadifah. He says,

On the Day (when the First blowing of the Trumpet is blow i.e. Ar-Raajifah), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die), The second blowing of the Trumpet (i.e. Ar-Raadifah) follows it (and everybody will be raised up). (surah An-Naaziaat: 6-7)

In another place, Allah named the first blowing As-Saihah and declares the second blowing of the Trumpet. He says,

They await only but a single saihah (shout, etc), Which will seize them while they are disputing! Then they will not be able to make bequest, nor they will return to their family. And the Trympet will be blown (i.e. the second blowing) and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord) (Surah Yaasin: 49-51)
