 228. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, ´´Whoever catches one Rak´ah of a prayer, catches that prayer.´´

227. ´Abdullah bin Mas´ud narrated: I asked the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam, ´´Which deed is best?´´ He replied, ´´Performing prayer at its due tim.´´ I asked, ´´What is next?´´ He replied, ´´Being dutiful to parents.´´ I again asked, ´´What is next?´´ He replied, ´´Fighting in Jihad in the Cause of Allah.´´ Then I stopped asking him for more because I did not want to overburden him.

 226. Abu Dhar narrated: The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said to me, ´´What would you do when you are under the rulers who delay the Salat (prayer) beyond its prescribed time, or they would make prayer a dead thing as far as its proper time is concerned?´´ I said, ´´What do you command me?´´ He said, ´´Perform prayer at its proper time, then catch it while they are performing it and join them, it would be a coluntary prayer for you.´´

 ´Abdullah bin ´Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Let not the bedouins make you change the name of your prayer ´Al-Isha´. Verily, the name of this prayer is in the Book of Allah ´Al-´Isha´ and it (its time) starts when the she-camels are milked.´´

 ´Aishah narrated: The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam one night delayed performing the ´Isha´ prayer until a great part of night passed and people in the mosque bad gone to sleep. He then came out and performed prayer and said: ´´This is the proper time for it; were it not for making it difficult for my Ummah.´´
