Walking to perform prayers effaces sins and exalts the rank

 243. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who purifies himself in his house, and then he walks to one of the houses of Allah for the sake of performing an obligatory prayer, one of his steps obliterates a sin and the second exalts his status.´´
