Preventing women from going to mosques

 246. ´Amrah bint Abdur.Rahman said: I heard ´Aishah the wife of the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam say: ´´If the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam had seen what new thongs women have introduced (n their way of life), he would have prevented them from going to mosque, as the women of Banu Israel were prevented.´´ (The narrator) said: I asked ´Anrah: ´´Were the women of Banu Israel prevented from going to mosques?´´ She replied: ´´Yes.´´
