The People of Paradise will be Busy

 They will be preoccupied with delight, pleasure, and enjoyment of their wives in Paradise. Allah says:

´´Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things. They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones.´´ (Yaasin: 55-56)

Allah also says:

´´(You) who believed in Our Ayat (proofs, verses, lessons, sings, revelations, etc.) and were Muslims (i.e. who submit totally to Allah´s Will, and believe in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism). Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happens.´´ (Za-Zukhruf: 69-70)

We mentioned that a woman will be in Paradise with the husband to whom she was married in the world. However, if a woman was married to two men in the world (at different times) and all of them enter Paradise, to which of the men will she belong?

Answer: Umm Habeebah, the wife of the Prophet, asked them Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam this question: ´´O Messenger of Allah, a woman amongst us who had two husband in the world, died and then entered Paradise along with her two husbands, to which of the two will she belong, the first or the last?´´ The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam responede saying:

´´She will be given the option to choose the one who treated her better while he was with her in the world and he will be her husband in Paradise.´´

 None will be saved on the Day of Resurrection except he who used to worship alah alone with Whom there is no associate. As for the other gods, they will lead their adherents into the Fire.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
