The Reason for the Large Number of Muhammad´s Nation (in Paradise)

 The length of time the Prophet spent calling them to Allah is the shortest compared to the time spent by previous Prophets, peace and blessing of Allah be upon them all. It cannot also be said that the number of the previous nations is less than ours. Allah mentions that the previous nations are greater in number and population Allah says:

´´Like those before you, they were mightier than you in power, and more abundant in wealth and children. They had enjoyed their portion awhile, so enjoy portion awhile as those before you enjoued their portion awhile; and you indulged in play and pastime and in telling lies against Allah and His Messenger Muhammad peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) as they indulged in play and pastime. Such are they whose deeds are in vain in this world and in the Hereafter. Such are they who are the losers.´´ (At-Tawbah: 69)

The reason is that the greatest miracle of Allah´s Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam was the Qur´an and revelation addresses people´s intellect, influences their heart and impacts on their souls. It is a miracle that will remain protected till the Day og Resurrection.

The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said:

´´There has never been a Prophet amongst the prophets who was not bestowed with a sign amongst the signs which were bestowed (on the earlier prophets)- Human beings believed in it and verily I have been conferred upon revelation (the Qur´an) which Allah revealed to me. I hope that I will have the greatest following on the Day of Resurrevtion.´´247
