Chapter. Cleasing oneself after urination

 Ibn ´Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam once passed by two graves and said, ´´These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin (to avoid). One of them used to slander people, while the other never protected himself from being soiled with his urine.´´ The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam then took a green branch of a date-palm tree, split it in two (pieces) and stuck one on each grave. Then he said, ´´I hope that their punishment he lightened till these (branches) become dry.´´ (See the footnote of Hadith 215)
