CHapter. Using the skin of the dead animal

 Ibn ´Abbas narrated: A lamb was given to Maimunah´s slave-girl as a charitable gift, but it died. when the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam saw the dead lamb, he said, ´´Why do not you take its skin and tan it and use it,´´ They said, ´´It is dead.´´ He said, ´´Only its eating is progibited.´´
