Chapter. The Wudu´ af the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam

 Abdullah bin Zaid bin ´Asim Al-Ansari was a Companion of the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam It was said to him: ´´Show us how the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam used to perform Wudu´.´´ He called for a vessel (of water) and poured water from it on his hands and washed them thrice. Then he put his hand (in the vessel) and brought it (water) out, rinsed his mouth and snuffed up water with one handful of water doing it three times, Then he put his hand and ladled water and washed his face three times. Then he put his hand and ladled water, washed his firearm up to the elbows twice. 

Then he put his hand in the vessel and wiped his head front to back and back to front. Then he washed his feet up to the ankes, and said: ´´This is how the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam performed Wudu´.´´

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
