Wiping over forelock and turban
Mughirah bin Shu´bah reported: ´The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam lagged behind (in a journey) and I also lagged behind along with him. After relieving himself he said: ´´Do you have water?´´ I brought to him a pot of water; he washed his hands and face, and when he tried to get his forearms out (he could not) for the sleeve of the gown was tight. He, therefore, brought them out from under the gown and threw it over his shoulders. He washed his forearm, wiped his forelock and his turban, and his Khuff. He then returned to the people. They had begun the prayer with Abdur-Rahman bin ´Auf leading them, and had completed one Rak´ah. When he percelved the presence of the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam, he began to step back. But (the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam) made a gesture to him to continue, and he continued along with them. Then when he had pronounced the Taslim, he salla alayhi wa sallam got up and I also got up with him, and we performed the Rak´ah which we missed.
