Chapter. Emission of semen makes bath obligatory

 In the Name og Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

´Abdur-Rahman reported that his father Abu Sa´id Al-Khudri said: I went of Quba with the Messenger of Allah salla alayhih wa sallam on Monday until we reached Banu Salim. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam stood at the door of ´Itban and called him loydly. So he came out dragging his Izar (lower garment). Upon this the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´We rushed this man out.´´ ´Itban said: ´´O Messenger of Allah, if a man is rushed out while having an intercourse with his wife and separtes himself from her before he discharges, what should he do?´´ The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´The bath becomes obligatory only after seminal discharge.´´
