Performing Fajr prayer at its earliest time

 207. Muhammad bin ´Amr said: When Hajjaj came to Al-Madinah, we asked Jabir bin ´Abdullah about the timing of prayer as observed by the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam. He said: ´´The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam used to pray the Zuhr in the midday heat; the ´Ars when the sun was bright; the Maghrib when the sun had completely set; and as for the ´Isha, he sometimes delayed and sometimes (observed it) at earlier time. when he found them (his Companions) assembled (at earlier hours) he (Prayed) early, and when he saw them coming late, he delayed the (prayer), and the Fajr the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam observed at its earliest time.´´
