First Portrayal

 The first portrayal is that they will be driven like herds, moving in droves and being holend from different directions.

Allah says:

´´And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups.´(Az-Zumar:71)

He also says:

´´The Day when they wil be pushed down by force to the Fire of Hell; with a gorrible, forceful pushing.´´ (At-Toor: 13)

He also said: 

´´And (remeber) the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire, so they will be collected there (the first and the last).´´ (Fussilat: 19)

They will be herded and crowded together and they will shove one another just as people do with their animals.
