Eternity of the People of Paradise

 They will live eternally in it without leaving it or dying. Allah says:

´´FOr such, the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath (Paradise), wherein they shall abide forever. Hiw excellent is this reward for the doers (who do righteous deeds according to Allah´s Orders.´´ (Aal-Imran: 136)

´´And those who are blessed, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord will, a gift without an end.´´ (Hood: 108)

The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said:

´´Whoever enter Paradise will abide therein and he will not die. He will enjoy therein and will not become miserable. His cloth will not wear our and his youthulness will not vanish.´´

Allah´s Messenger salla alayhi wa salla also said:

´´A caller will call out: ´Verily, there is in store for you (everlasting) health and that you will never fall ill and that you will live (forever) and you will not die at all. And that you will remain young and never grow old. And that you will always live in affluent circumstances and never become tires (bored) [of staying in Paradise].´ That is the statement of Allah:

´And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they had, if at all, in the life of this world); rivers flowing under them, and they will say: ´´All the praises and thanks be to allah, Who has guided us to this, never could we have found guidance, were it not that Allah had guided us! Indeed, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth.´´ And it will be cried out to them: ´´This is the Paradise which you have inherited for what you used to do.´´´ (Al-A´raaf:43)

 None will be saved on the Day of Resurrection except he who used to worship alah alone with Whom there is no associate. As for the other gods, they will lead their adherents into the Fire.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
