They will Yearn to Visit the Market

 The extent of the delight and enjoyment in the market of Paradise will be such that the poeple of Paradise will look forward to it. Sa´eed ibn Musayyab met Abu Hurayrah and he (Abu Hurayrah) said to him:

´´I aks Allah to gather me and you together at the market of Paradise.´´ Sa´eed said: ´´Is there a market in it? He said: ´´Yes, the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam informed me that when the people of Paradise enter it, they will reside there by the grace of their actions and a announcement will be made for them at the time of the Friday among the days of the world. Then, they will visit Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. His Throne will appear to them and He will reveal Himself to them in one of the gardens of Paradise and platforms of light, of pearls, platforms of rubies, platforms of gems, platforms of gold and platforms of silver will be set for them. The least and lowest of them in rank will sit on a sand hill of musk and kaafuur. The occupants of one flatform will not see anyone better ranked than them. ´´255

Abu Hurayrah narrated: So I said:

´´O Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam will we see our Rabb on the Day of Resurrection?´´ The Messenger of Allah said: ´´Yes, do you doubt that the sun and the moon is seen when it is full?´´ They said: ´´No, O Messenger of Allah.´´ He said:

´´Similarly, you will not doubt seeing your Lord. No one will remain behind from that sitting except that Allah brings him such that He will say to a man from them. ´O so-and-so, do you remember the day you did such and such?´ and He will remind him of some of his treacheries in  the world. The man will say: ´O Lord, have You not firgiven me`Thereupon, He (Allah) will say: ´Certainly, it by the amplitude of My forgiveness that you have attained this status,´´ While they are in that situation, a cloud will envelop them from abouve and a rain of perfume will fall on them; the forgrance of which they had never percieved before. Then the Mighty and Exalted will say: ´Raise to reveived the honour I have prepared for you and all that you deisre.´ Then we will go to a market which will be filled with angels whose similitude on eyes have ever beheld, no ears have even heard and has never occurred to the hearts. And what our hearts desire will be brought to us. There will be nothing to buy or sell therein in the market; the people of Paradise will meet one another.´´

 None will be saved on the Day of Resurrection except he who used to worship alah alone with Whom there is no associate. As for the other gods, they will lead their adherents into the Fire.

Voluntary Fasting

 Fasting is one of the major acts of worship with which Allah redeems the fasting person from the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´Fasting is a shield against the Fire (of Hell) just like the shield one of you would use during fighting.´´80 The supererogatory fasting has its virtue. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said: ´´He who observes fast for a day in the path of Allah, He will remove his face from the Hell due to (the fast of) that day to the extent of seventy years.´ distance.´´81 The phrase ´in the path of Allah´ could either mean fasting a day sincerely, intending the pleasure of Allah; or fasting in the course of a military expedition in the path of Allah.

Backbiter and Tale-Bearer

 A backbiter is the individual who indugles in backiting which involves mentioning about your brother that which he would detest. The tale-bearer is the person who varries bad tale among the people in order to cause disaffection among them. These sins cause pervading tribulations, and enormous corruption also stems from them. Their perpetrators are among the worst of people and due to their capricious tongue, they speak as dictated by their whims and desires.  Their situation at the time of resurrection will be appalling as the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever eats the flesh of his brother in the world (i.e. bacjbites), he will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him, Eat his dead as you have eaten him alive. He would eat him and he would scowl and scream.
