Usurper of Lands

Al-Ghaasib is the one who forcibly usurp things with power and authority. We have been tried in the current time with a group of people who usurp people´s lanfs or lands which are earmarked for public benefit. They wrongfully occupy them through devious or fraudulent means. A severe warning is given to whoever does that. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, Any person who takes a piece of land unjustly will sink down the seven earth of the Day of Resurrection.

There is a Warning Concerning That

The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam used to send some of his companions to collect zakat from the desert tribes. He sent a man from the Al-Azdi clan known as Ibn Al-Lutbiyyah to collect Zakat. He approached the owner of camels or him his obligatory charity for delivery to the Messenger of allah salla alayhi wa sallam to be distrubuted to the poor. Ibn Al-Lutbiyyah was also given a gift specifically for him. So he gathered all of the camels and sheeps including the ones meant for Zakat and the ones ermarked as a gift for him. He approached herding these animals till he reached Madinah and he approached Allah´s Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam with them and said, These are for you and these are what I have been given. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam became angry. How could be receive a gift while he is in an employment for which he is paid from the Muslim treasury? If the door is opened to employees to receive gifts in their offical responsibilities, that may...

Misappropriation Includes:

A rulers´ misappropriation of the Muslim treasury. Officials´ embezzling the money of their offices. Employees and administrators´ embezzling of public wealth.

Embezzling From The War Booty

Al-Ghuluul is embezzling from the spoils of war before it is destributet among the mujahideen. Al-Ghaneemah is the body that is obtained by Muslim worriors from the property of their enemy after victory over them. Allah has warned those who embezzle. It is not for any Prophet to take illegally a part of booty (Ghulul), and whosoever deceives his companions as regards the booty, he shall bring forth on the Day of Resurrevtion that which he took (illegally). Then every person shall be paid in full what he has earned, - and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. (Surah Aal-Imran: 161) Due to enormity of the crime of embezzlement, the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam strove to caution his companions against it. On the authority of Abu Hurayrah who narrated, One day the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam stood among us (to deliver a sermon), He spoke about the misappropriation of booty, and declared it to be a serious matter and a grave sin. Then he added, I should not find that a...

The Situation of a Betrayer on The Day of Resurrection

Betrayal and treachery are attributes of the hypocrites. When a hypocrite commits himself to a pledge and proves treacherous when peole had enstrusted him with their wealth, conencants and pledges, he betrays them and he is deceitful. However, he will be exposed on the Day of resurrection in a most disgraceful manner. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, When Allah will gather together on the Day of Judgment all the earlier and later generations of mankind, a flag will be raised (to mark of) every person guilty of breach of faith, and it will be announced that this is the perfidy of so and so, son of so and so (to attract the attention of people to his guilt). The betrayer is he who betrays. He pleges something but does not fulfill it and he breaches his trusts. A flag is a large banner which is held by an army connamder with followers. A flag will be hoised for the perfidious to reveal his treachery and he would thys be exposed on the Day of Judgment and the flag w...

The Indulgent Wealthy Man

Benefiting from the blessings of Allah with moderation and without extravagance is permissible. A man may even be rewarded for it if he demostrates gratitude and appreciation to Allah over His favours. However going to the extreme in eating and drinking and being extravagant in that is blameworthy. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam ince heard a man in his presence who bleched and it appeared his disliked that, so he said, Suppress your belch for the one who eats to his fill most in the world will go hungry the longest in the Hereafter. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam also said, The rich are in fact the poor (little rewarded) on the Day of Resurrection except him whom Allah gives wealth which he gives (in charity) to his right, left, front and back, and does good deeds with it. He also said, The rich are in fact the least ranked on the Day of Resurrection except him whom acts with the wealth as such and as such and his earning is pure

People Who Will Meet Allah While He is Angry With Them

We seek Allah´s refuge from His anger and we beseech Him to admit us into His clemency and mercy. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, Whoever take a false oath so as to take the property of a Muslim (illegally) will meet allah while He will be angry with him.

Sims FOr Which The One Gilty of it Will be Bridled

A bridle is what is placed on the mouth of a horse. There are people who would be bridled on the Day of Resurrection with a bridle of fire. These are people from whom religious verdicts on a matter were sought but they concealed the knowledge and they failed to teach the people their religion, in spite of them being able to spread the knowledge without any harmful repercussions. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, Whoever was asked about knowledge and he concealed it, he will be bridled on the Day of Resurrection with a bridle of fire.

Those Who Copulate With a Woman From the Anus

Allah has created both men and women with the natural instincts to be attracted to one another. Allah has provided legal means of relationship between them and prohibited others. It is from the major sins for a man to copulate with his wife through the anus. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, The one who approaches his wife from her anus is cursed. The Prophet salla alayhi wa salla also threatened that Allah will not look at whoever does that on the Day of Resurrection. He said, Allah will not look at the one who approaches his wife from her anus.

Ad-Dayyuth

This is a man who condones evil in his family, among his wife, daughters and sons. He does not show concern for the protection of his family from curroption and he does not command them to cover themselves with hijab. Rather some of his women will indulge in atrocities and prohibited relationship but he will neither feel jealous nor angry due to that. Such a man is deprived of chivalry and manliness. Such a man is a Dayyuth. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam has said about all of these types of people, There are tree types of people whom Allah would not look at on the Day of Resurrection, one who is undutiful to his parents, a woman who imitates men and a cucklod. Tree people will not enter Paradise: one who is undutiful to his parents, one who is addicted to intoxicants and the one who recounts what (favorus) he has given.

A Woman That Imitates Men

Imitating the opposite sex in dressing, manners of speaking and comportment are disparaged acts. It is also a personality disorder and a door to societal corruption. In out generation, perversions and imitations have spread via some websites and a number of satellite channeks, such that men adorn womens clothes and voice versa. What is even worse is that this imitating has reached a point where some even change the sex with which Allah has created them through surgival operations, hormonal drugs and other means. Thus, a man swaps his sexual organs for that of a female and voice versa. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam cautioned us against all forms of imitation of the opposite sex and informed us that Allah will not look at whoever does that on the Day of Resurrection.

One Who Disobeys His Parents

iii-treating parents is a great sin and a snub of propriety. Allah has appended the rights of the parents with Himself when He says, And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful yto your parents. If one of them or oth of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. (Surah Al-Israa: 23) allah also connects gratitude to Him with gratitude to ones parents when he said, Give thanks to Me and to your parents. (Surah Luqman: 14) Being dutiful to parents is a path to the bliss of both worlds as the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned, Whoever is pleased that he be granted more welath and that his lease of life be prolonged, then he should keep god relations with his kith and kin. On the Day of resurrection, the situation of the one who ill treated his parents will be that Allah will not look at him.

The One Who Hangs His Lower Garment Out of Self-Conceit

Hanging ones clothes and dragging them below the ankles is a disobedinence of Allah. The foundation is for a Muslim to waar lower gamments above the ankle. When self-conceit and arrogance is merged with hanging clothes on the Day of Resurrection as a derision and punishment for him. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, Allah wil not look at the one who drags his cloth in self-concerit. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam also said, Hanging drow is (done) in lower garments, shirt and turban. If anyone trails any of them conceritedly. Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.

Sins For Which Allah Will Not Look at Their Perpetrators

Just as Allah will not speak with some people on the Day of resurrection, similarly, He will not also look at them as a disparagement, derision and scorn of them. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam has mentioned different sins for which Allah will not look that slave has failed and will be in loss. Among these people who have been mentioned in the Sunnah are:

The Arrogant Poor

Among them is an indigent who is arrogant. He is poor, with tattered clothes, a coarse bed, an inferior ride, a dilapidated house but at the same time he behaves arrogantly to people and looks at people with condescension. He greets other people with the tips of his hand in arrogance and walks on the earth with pride even though he does not possess any worldly material that should propel him to arrogance. It should be restated that arrogance is generally blameworthy whether it is from the rich or the poor. Concerning all of them matters, The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, Three (are the persons) with whom Allah will neither speak, nor will He absolve them on the Day of Resurrction. Abu Muawiyah added, He would not look at them and there is grievous torment for them, the aged adulterer, a lying king and the proud destitute. Allah will not speak with these types of people due to the gravity of their sins.

The Lying King

This is a warning because what naturally impels people to lies is the desire to raise their prestige in the eyes of other people. So they fabricate stories and heroic tales to raise their personal worth in their perception. Perhaps he also tells a lie in order to drew peoples attention to himself or to abtain some wordly benefit. However, in the case of a king, he is in no nedd of that because people have already turned their attention to him and they exalt him. The world has also been spread befor him, so what is his incentive to lie other that his bad personality and disregard for the laws of Allah and failure to esteem his Lord. This does not however mean that lying is permitted for other than kings, rather lying leads to obsenity and obsenity leads to the Hellfire.

An Old Adulterer

The old person in this case is someone who is advanced in age, yet due to their evil personality, weakness of their faith, effrontery in disobeying their Lord, contempt of the religion, they needlessly real in sin. An example that will clarify the point of discussion is that of a man wjo is advanced in age, whose bones have become frail, his desires have become blunt and his body is less inclined towards sexual gratification; due the reality of his situation, if he commits the sin of adultery, his sin is greater than that of a youth whose desire might push him to unlawful sexual gratification. Neverheless, it is generally acknowledged that committing adultery is one of the major sins and the adulterer whether old or yong, man or woman, has rippet apart the covering between him and Allah. He hid from the creation and rends asunder the sanctity of the Sight of the Creator.

A Nullifier of Allegiance

COvenant, promise, agreement, pact and alligance to rules upon obedience are important issues, and toying with these matters or being deceitful regarding such things is extremely dangerous and acutely harmful. Regarding all of these three, the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, There will be three types of people whom Allah will neither speak to them on the Day of Resurrection nor will Allah purify them from their sins, and they will have a painful punishment. They are, (1) a man who possessed superflous water (more than he needs) on a way and he witholds it from the travelers. )2) a man who gives a pledge of allegiance to an Imam (ruler) and gives it onlu for worldly nemefits, if the Imam gives him what he wants, he abides by his pledge, otherwise he does not fulfill his pledge; )3) and a man who sells something to another man after the ´Ars prayer and swears by Allah (a false oath) that he has been offered so much for it whereupon the buyer believes him and buys it ...

A Miser With Water

Miserliness is a despicable trait which indicates an ignoble personality and a vile nature. It is even more detestable when a person is miserly with what will not harm him if he gives it in spite of peoples extreme need of it. An instance of that is being miserly with water which the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam informed us that people have equal share in it.

Al-Mannaan

Al-Mannaan is he who gives something to people, then later on reminds and recounts his favours to them in order to humuliate them. Concering all of these people, Abu Dhar reported that the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said, There are three types of people with whom Allah will neither speak on the Day of Resurrevtion, nor will Allah look at them, nor will Allah absolve them, and for them is a painful chastisement. I (i.e. Abu Dahr) remarked, Who are these people who fail and are lost. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam repeated his words three time and added, (They are) The trailer of his lower garments (below the ankle), the seller of his goods by false oath and the recounter of favours.

Al-Musbil (One Who Trails His Garments Below His Ankles)

Al-Musbil is the person who hangs his garments below his ankels. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam has progibited ishaal when he said, The part of the izar (lower garment) that hangs below the ankle is in the Fire. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam warned against hanging ones garments below the ankles, and he informed of the menace that awaits the one who hangs his clothes below the ankles on the Day of Resurrection. One Who Sells His Merchandise by False Oath Swearing an oath frequently is generally detested. Our Lord says, And Protect your oaths (i.e. do not swear much). (Surah Al-Maidah: 89). How much worse is it when the oath is false?! In that case the matter becomes even more serious and the sin even greater. The one who sells his merchandise by making false oaths is he who offers his goods for sale by swearing falsely by Allah on the high qyality of his goods so that people would byy them.

Priests, Rabbi and Scholars

They are those who conceal knowledge of the divine law and alter the divine rule to please someone, to actualize personal interest or to obtain some wordly benefit. Hence, they abandon publicizing the truth in spite of them being able to do so. Allah says, Verily, those who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book, and purchase a small gain therewith (of worldly things), they eat into their bellies nothing but fire. Allah will not speak to them on the Day of resurrection, nor purify them, and theirst will a painful torment (Surah Al-Baqarah:174) Allah also says, Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allahs Conenant and their oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter (Paradise). Neither will allah speak to them, var look at them on the Day of Resurretion, nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful Torment. (Surah Aal-Imran:77)

Sins For Which Allah Will Nor Speak to Their Perpetrators

There are some people who have become so sullied with sins such that they will deserve that Allah does not speak with them. This is due to the gravity of their ignominy, abject status and hideousness of their deeds. The punishment and exemplary chestisement that will be visted on the sinners and liars are verying and part of them is Allahs turning away from a slave and not speaking or looking at him. Allah has mentioned some of these people in His Book and the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam also mentioned them in his Sunnah as an admonition against their deeds.

Arrogance

Arrogance is a detrimental disease. Allah the Exalted does not love the arrogance nor will He raise him. Rather, whoever has in his heart an atom of arrogance will not enter Paradise. People flee from the arrogance and he is hated by the intelligent and detested by the old and the younger. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam has described their situation at resurrection. He siad, The arrogance one will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in the similitude of tiny ants in the shape of men who would be convered in disgrace from everywhere. Dhar are small ants and typically, human beings do not care about small ants, they trample on them with their feet even without knowing similarly, people will trample on the arrogant ones due to their extreme contempt, humiliation and the tramplig of other people under their feet.

The Situations of Sinners

On the Day of resurrection Whoever dies upon the aqedah of tawheed, free from shirk and was saved from the worship of other than Allah, but indulged in different sins, whether big or small, is under the will of Allah. It Allah the Exalted wills, He punishment him or forgives him. The situation of the sinners on the plain of resurrection in recorded in many adhadith and these sinners fall into different categories, kinds and situations. Similarly, there are manu ahadith giving tidings, warnings, stirring yearnings and are intimidating. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam cautioned us against deeds which put its doers in a bad situation on the Day of resurrection. From these deeds are the following. Declining to offer Zakah These people are in great danger. They have denied Allahs right in wealth and also denied the righte of the poor. Due to their avarice. Ungenerous and weakness of their faith, they denied these rights. Their situation on the Day of resyrrection will be servers. Th...

Supporters of the Weak

Allah has made people into different ranks. He raised some above the others in degress. Some powerful people hold sway over the weak and they oppress them. They seize their wealth, harm them physically and deny them their right. However, there are some powerful infivifuals among the believing and pious one who aid the weak and protect his right. The Orphet salla alayhi wa sallam gives them glad tidings, Whoever aids his brother in his absence, Allah will aid him in the world and the Hereafter. Conclusion These are the situations of the people of eeman and piety on that day wherein wealth, prestige or children will nor profit a person, except he who comes to Allah with a pure heart. A heart that is free from shirk, deceit and envy but filled with eeman (faith), sidq (sincerity) and taqwa (Piety).

The Good-Doers

These are those who are good-doers and benevolent with their prestige, wealth and knowledge. They visit the poor and the weak and have compassion for them. They aid the oppressed, connect ties of kinship and they relieve the sorrow of the distressed. They ease the depression of the grief-stricken. Allah will easy for them and relieve them from the distress of the Day of Resurrection. This is as he said, He who alleviates the suffering of a brother out of the sufferings of the world. Allah will alleviate his suffering from the sufferings of the Day og resurrection, and he who finds relief for one who is hard pressed, Allah will make things easy for him in the Hereafter, and he who conceals (the faults) of a Muslim, allah will conceal his faults in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah will continue to aid a seroant so long as continues to assists his brother.

The People of the Quran

The Quran is honour in the world and salavation in the Hereafter. Whoever preoccupies his night and day with the memorization of and reflection on the Quran is not equal with the lazy and negleful. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam prasied the reciter on the Day of Resurrection and will make it easy on him. He said, Recite the Quran, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recote the two bright ones, Surat al-Baqarah and Surat al-Imraan, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds and two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite Surah Baqarah, for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam also said, The reciter of the Quran will be brought on the Day of Qiyaamah and the Quran would say, O Lord, erobe him, and he will be dressed in a robe of honour. Then it will say, O Lord! Increase ...

The One Who Grows Grey Hair in Islam

Steadfastness in Islam and dying on it is an immense favour. This is as Allah says, O you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing al that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that he has forbidden) as He should be feared [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him Always], and die not except in a state of Islam (as muslims) with complete submission to Allah. (Surah Aal-Imran:102) Allah has has enjoined the honoring of the elders, having respect for their grey haris and recognition of their worth, as indicated the words of allahs Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam, A youth does not honour an elderly because of his old age except that Allah decress for him for him one who would honour him in his old age. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam also said, Part of glorification of Allah is showing honout to a grey-heired Muslim, to one who bears (memorizes) the Quran without acting extravagantly regarding it, or turning away from it, and showing honour to a just ruler. He also ...

The Muazzin (Call to Prayer)

Calling to prayer is an act of piety and worship. If the people knew the virtue of making the adhaan, they would race to it and cast lot over it. How would the muezzin not be honorable when he raises his voice with the statement of tawheed and announces it. The Messenger of Allah alayhi wa sallam said, The muezzin will have the longest neck among the people on the Day of Qiyaamah. A long neck is a sign of beauty and it is appropriate to the righteous deeds of making the adhaan, since they convery with their voices the words of the adhaan which announces Allahs Onesness and invites to the prayer. Every fresh and dry and dry object to which his voice reaches in the world will bear witness for the muezzin. Abu Saeed il-Khudree once said to Abdur Rahman Ibn Saah, I see that you like sheep and the wilderness. So whenever you are with your sheep or in the wilderness and you want to call the adhaan for the prayer, raise your voice in doing so, for no one hears the Adhaan, whether a human...

They Are Just

In their rules, whenever they judge between people in relation to their families. He does not treat his wife and hildren unjustly. In whatever he undertakes to do, when he assumes any roles of leadership, or becomes a king or a head of state, or director of a company or school and so on. If all of these people are just, Allah will raise them of pupits of light. Those Who Restrain Their Anger anger is a dispraised attrubute and tits consequence is detrimental. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam advised one of his Companions and repeated it sayind, Dont be angry... Dont be angry... Dont be angry, 104 due to what he knew of the consequences of anger. How manu times has anger shattered the bonds of lovers and separated friends. Hiw often has it crushed sould and stirred emities. The brave, intelligent and hero is the one who controls himself at the times of anger.  Allahs Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam said, The strong is not the one who overcomes (other) in duel by his strengt...

The Merchant Who Gives Respite to The Straitened Person of Forgives His Debt

Being merciful to the poor and not bring severs on his is virtuous. Part of this is giving respite to the one in a straitened circumstance, (i.e. to grant delay) in demanding the repayment of a debt till be findes money to repay or for forgive part of the debt. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said, Whoever gives respite to one in stritened circumstance or absolves him (of hid debt), Allah will provide him shade on the Day of Qiyaamah. He also said, Whoever is easy on hid debtor or cancels for him (the debt) will be under the shade of the Trone on the Day of Qiyaamah. The One who Relieves the Straitened This is similar to the previous one who is a wealthy merchant from whom the poor borrow and he is nor harsh on them in demanding repayment of his loan, rather, he is compassionate to them and overlooks some of his claims. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said while mentioning the situation of people on the Day of Qiyaamah, Allah will bring (to account) one His servan...

The First Person to be Called on The Day of Qiyaamah

The first person to be called on the Day of Qiyaamah is our father Afam (peace be upon him) as the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, The first man to be called on the Day of Resurrection will be Adam who will be shown his offspring, and it will be said to them, This is your father, Adam. Adam will say (responding to the call), Labbaik wa sadaik Then out of your offspring, the people of Hell. Adam will say, O Lord, how manu should I take out? Allah will say, Take out ninety-nine out of every hundred. They (the Prophets salla alayhi wa sallam companions) said, O Allahs Apostle! If ninety-nine out of every one hundred of us are taken away, what will remain out of us? He said, My follows in comparison to the other nation are like q white hair on a black ox. The Situation of The Gathering of the Disbelievers

Everyone will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection according to there deeds. It will be alleviated for the believers and severe for the disbelievers due to the intensity of the wrath against them, agitation and anxiety of their hearts, tremor of their bodies and intensity of their perspiration. Some of them would be gathered in situation suggesting humiliation and belitting, Some of the disbelievers will be resurrected on their faces as Allah mentions. And We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf, their abode will be Hell; whenever it abates, We shall increase for them the fierencess of the Fire. (Surah Al-Israa: 97) In the hadith of Anas, a man said, O Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam of Allah, (how will) the disbelievers be gathered on his face on the Day of Resurrection(?) The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam replied, Is the one who makes them walk on their legs in the world not able to make them walk on their faces on the D...

The Intensituy of Peoples Terror

The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam described peoples situation when he said, On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will drew so close to the people that there will be left only a distance of one mile. People will be submerged in perspiration according to their deeds, some up to their heel, some up to their knows, some up to their wist and some would have the bridle of perspiration. He also said, The people will perspire so profusely on the Day of Resurrection that their sweat will sink seventy cubits deep into the earth, and it will rise up till it reaches the peoples mouths and ears. He also said, Each one of them would stand submerged into perspiration up up to hals of his ears. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam also said, On the Day of Resurrection, the sun would drew so close to the people that there would be left only a distance of one or two miles. The sun will melt them. The Situation of the believers on That day Due to the intensity of the terror and tumult at the gathering...

The Prophets flag on The Plain of Assembly

From the honour Allah will give to our Prophet, Muhammad salla alayhi wa sallam, on the plain of assembly is that the Prophets salla alayhi wa sallam will stand under the flag of the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam on the Day of Resurrection. He is their leader, spokesperson and curstodian of their interecession on the Day of The Resurrection, spokesperson and curstadion of their on the Day of Resurrection. This is as the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam himself said, On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the imam of the Prophets, their spokesperson and custodian of their interession and it is without boasting. In his hand will be the flag of praise and there is not a Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam except that he will be under the flag of Muhammad salla alayhi wa sallam. He said, I will be the leader of the son of Adam alayhi sallam on the Day of Qiyaamah and this is not to boast. In my hand shall be the flag of praise, and this is not to boast. There is no a Prophet salla...

Kinds of Gathering

Has been mentioned earlier that al-Hashr is the gathering and assembling. The creatures will be divided into two on the Day of Resurrection. Some of them will be dead in their graves and other will be alive when the Hour will be established, and them they will swoon at the first blowing of the Trumpet. It is well-known that the Hour will be established on the worst of men. Allah will send a soothing wind which will take the souls of the believers. Afterwards, the destruction will be completed on those who remain on the earth from amongst the living. There are shariah texts in the Quran and Sunnah detailing the manner of the Gathering. Allah did not leave the matter to peoples conjectures and assumptions. The Gathering are of two kinds: The First Kind: The Gathering of The living This is the gathering of the living beings. They will be gathered from every direction of the earth to one place in the land of gathering in shaam. What will drive them is the first which will emanate from...

The Description of The Gathering

The creation will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection on a crystal white land. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, The people will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection on a white land like a pure load of bread. It will have on landmarks for anybody (to make use of). A pure load of bread is bread that is make of pure fine flour of whet or barley and free from adulteration and chaff. Location of the Land of Gathering The location of Resurrection is a shaam (Great Syria) The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam pointed his hand towards shaam and said, Here to here will you be gathered rading and on foot. (Some of you) will be dragged on your faces. On the Day of Resurrection, your mouth would be sealed. Seventy nations will arrive the presence of Allah and you are the best and nobelst of them and the first (part) that will speak in one of you is his thigh. Al-Fidaam is strainer which is placed on the mouth of a pitcher to prevent water from being fetched from it. It me...

Introduction

Al-Hashr is the assembling and collection of different things to one place. The Gathering of the Day of Resurrection is the assembling of creation in one place for their accounting and judgment between them. Allah named the Day of Resurrection the Day of Assembly because Allah will assemble all of the slaves in it as he says, That is a Day whereon mankind will be gathered together, and that is a Day when all (the duellers of the heavens and the earth) will be present. Surah Hud: 103) Everyone will be assembled, the first and the later generations. This is as Allah says, Say (O Muhammad salla alayhi wa sallam): (Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times. All will surely be gathered together for appointed Meeting of a known Day. (Surah Al-Waqiah: 49-50) Nothing incapacitates Allah, Wherever Allah takes the life of His slaves, He will bring them back from that space and atmosphere, whether it is from the darkness of the ocean floor, from the crust of the earth or from the b...

The Gathering

Al-Hashr (the Gathering) is small its structure but great in its meaning. It is repeatedly mentioned in the Quran and the Sunnah. What is al-Hashr? How will the people be gathered and where will they be gathered? On which land will they be gathered? What types and categories will the people be divided to at the Cathering?

The Stars and The Planets

(Surah Al-Mursalaat: 8) This will be followed by the scattering of the planets that are connected to that stars by gravity as Allah says, And when that stars have fallen and scattered. (Surah Al-Infitaar: 2) Allah also says, Verily! Allah graps the heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places, and if they were to move away from their places, there is not one that could graps them after Him. Truly, He is Ever Most Forbearing, OFt-Forgiving. (Surah Faatir: 41) What Stars Will Suffer This Fate? Answer: Allah knows best concerning that. We do not know whether it is the planets in our galaxy or the entire stars in the sky. No one know the number of the stars in the sky and their position except all...

The Moon

Se, moon would be eclipsed and its light will disappear as Allah says, So, when the sight shall be dazed, And the moon will be exlupsed, And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.) On that Day man will say where (is the refuge) to flee? No! There is no refuge! Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. (Surah Al-Qiyaamah: 7-12) The phrase, and moon will be joined together, means that the sun and the moon would be merged together in one direction and they would appear in from the west without anu light.

The Colour of The Heaven on That Day

The beaufitul blue olour of the sky will change on the Day of Resurrection into shades of colour. At a point, it will turn red, then yellow, then green and then blue as Allah says, Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide. (Surah Ar-Rahman: 37) The Extinguishing of The Sun At the time of Resurrection, the light of the sun will be extinuished. Its illumination will vanish. It will be brought together and wounded. Takweer means, to collext something together. This is simlar to the wounding of a tuban. Thus, all the parts of the sun will be collected and it would have lost its light and it would be flung. It could also mean that the sun will become cold and extinurished. It will then lack rays and flame like the crust of the earth. This is Allah says, When the sun kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown. (surah At-Takweer: 1)

The Explosion and Overflowing of The Seas

The great, surging, deep and terrifyring seas and all the massive creatures that reside in its belly will erupt, overflow and ignite fire on the Day of Resurrevtion. This is as mentioned by Allah the Exalted: The Whirling and Cleaving of The Sky On the Day of Resurrevtion, the heaven will shake violently and will billow dreadfully as Allah says, On the Day when the heaven will shake with a dreadful shaking. (Surah At-Tur:9 The heaven will sgake and whirl in its place just as the mill spin. It will cleave and split asunder as Allah says, When the heaven is cleft asunder. (Surah Al-Infitaar.) And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with cloud (Surah al-Furqaan: 25) We do not know how the heaven will be rent asunder but we are sure it will be a dreaful and grave situation. Allah says, And the heaven will split asunder, for that Day it (the heaven will be frail (weak), and torn up. (Surah Al-Haaqah: 17) The heaven will split and become weak and fragile after it ha...

As For The Fate of The Earth

It will be as the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, The Earth will turn to be one single bread on the Day of Resurrection and the Almighty would turn in His hand as one of you turns a loaf while on a journey, It would. It would be a feast arranged in the honour of the people of Paradise. A person from among the Juws came and he said, Abu Al-Qasim, may the Compassionate Lord be pleased with you! May I inform you about the feast arranged in honour of the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrevtion? He said, Do it, of course. The Jew said, The earth would become one single bread. Then Allahs Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam looked towards his companions and laughed until his molar teeth became visible. He (the Jew) then said, May I inform you about that with which they would season it? He said, Do it, of course. He said, Their seasoning would be baalaam and Noon. The companions of the Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam said, What are these?. Ox and fish from whose extra l...

The Horror of The Hour

The order of existence will be disturbed and Al-Jabbaar ( Allah) will descend to judge between His slaves. What will be the situation of the heavens? How will the earth be changed? And what will happen to the people at the time? Allah has informed us of the horror of the Day of Resurrection which will astound the people and their hearts will tremble. The earth will quake and be crushed. The mountains will be pulverized and will disappear. The ocean will burst forth and overflow. The heaven will cleave and pass away. The sun will be rolled and eclipsed. The moon will also be extinguished and esclipsed. The stars will fade out and its light will elapse. Our Lord will hold the earth in His hand and He will fold the heavens in His Right Hand.

The First Person For Whom The Earth Will Cleave

At The time of the second blowing of the trumpet, the graves will cleave for the dead to emerge. This will occur after their bodies have been completely restored inside their graves. The first person that will be resurrected and for whom the earth will cleave open in our Prophet Muhammad salla alayhi wa sallam. This is based on his following statement. I will leader of the son of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, the first for whom the grave will cleave, the first intercessor and the first whose intercession will be accepted. On the authority of Abu Hurayrah who narrated, A man from the Muslims and a man from the Jews quarreled, and the Muslim said, By Him who gave superiority to Muhammad over all the people! The Jew also said, By Him who gave superiority to Musa over allthe people! On that the Muslim lifted his hand and slapped the Jew. The Jew went to Allahs Messenger salla alayhi wa sallam and informed him of all that had happend between him and the Muslim. Do not give me superi...

The Manner of Resurrection

Matters of the unseen cannot be known except throught revelation. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam has informamed us in a number of hadith how resurrection will take place and the length of time between the two blowings of the Trumpet. From these hadith are the following: There is between the two blowings forty. Then he said, Then Allah will send down rain from the sky and they will sprout just as legumes sprout (from the soil). There is nothing of the human body that does not decay except one bone; that is the little bone at the end of the cocyx of which the human body will be recreated on the Day of Resurrevtion. After the first blowing which will cause the death of all living creatures, there will be an interval the length of which only Allah knows and then Allah will send down rain from which their bodies will sprouth. When the bodies have been completely restored, regardless of whether they were buired in their graves, in the ocean, in the desert, and in mountain caves as A...

THe Condition of the Dead That Were Not Buried

Whoever drowned and was eaten by fishes and his body parts became scattered in their bellies, or the one who was burnt to ashes, or one who was devoured by predatory animals, or he who died by any other unnatural means and was not buired, will also experience resurrection. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam mentioned the story of a man from the earlier generations, Allah had given hi wealth and children. When his dead approached, he said to his sons, What kind of father have I been to you? They repiled, You have been a good father. He said to them, I have not presented anu good deed (before Allah). So Look! When I  die, burn me, and when I turn into coal, crush me, and when there comes a windy day, scatter my ashes in the wind. By Allah, if my Lord were to seize me, He will punish me in a manner He had not punished anyone else. The Prophet salla alayhi wa sallam added, Then by Allah, he took a firm promise from his children to do so, and they did so. (They burnt him after his...

Inference of The beginning of Creation on its Restoration

The One who created the creation the first time when it was nothing and fashioned it as He wished is capable of restoring it once again the way He wishes and when He wishes. This is because restoring is even easier than the initial creation. This is as Allah says, And (remember) the Day when We shall roll ip the heavens like a scrool rolled up for books, as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it, (it is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it. (Surah Al-Anbiyaa: 104) Allah also says, And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it (after it has been perished), and this is easier for Him. (Surah Ar-Rum: 27) Restoration of the Dead Back to Life in the World There are instances when some people died and Allah brought them back to life. An example is the revival of the dead man from the Children of Israel after he was struck a part of the cow as Allah mentions (in the Quran) So We said: Strike him (the dead man) with a piece of it (the cow) Thus Allah ...

The Resurrection

After the second blowing of the Trumpet, creatures will raise for the judgment. What is al-Bath (resurrection)? What are the proofs of its occurrecence? What is the meaning of an-Nushoor? How will it take place? What is the situation of the dead who were not buried (in the soli)? Actual Proofs on The Possibility of Resurrection Allah has arrayed before us numerous indications that should make us believe in the resurrection of people after their death and their restoration back to life. From these indications are (the following): Rainfall That Restores a Dead Warth Back to Life by The Permission of Allah We often pass by a land which is barren, parched and dead with no vegatation, plant or life but when Allah sends down rain on it, it quivers, comes back to life and turns out to be a lush and flourishing vegetation. After it was previously dry, the land becomes fresh. After its barrenness it becomes verdant. This is how Allah restores the dead back to life. He will restore back to ...

Allahs Mercy to The Believers

The terror and fear at the time of the blowing in the Trumpet will be extremely servers. Hence, Allah the Exalted will take the souls of the believers with all midness before this blowing and no one will remain on the earth except the worst of creatures. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam has narrated the events that will take place before and during this blowing. He said, The Dajjal will appear in my Ummah and he will stay (in the world) for forty. And Allah will then send Eesaa son of Maryam who would resenble Urwa Ibn Masood. He (Eesaa) would chase him and kill Him. Then people Would live for seven years that there will be no rancour between two people will survive upon the earth having a speak of good in him or faith in him innermost part of the mountain, this wind would reach that place also and that would cause his death. Only the vilest of people will survive and they will be as careless as bird with the characteristics of beasts. They will never recognize anu go...

The First Person to Hear The First Sound of The Trumpet

The first times of Trumpet will be blown is while human beings and other creatures go about their routine daily ativities. Someone will be in the market choosing a doth to buy. Someone will have milked his camel and will be taking it back Another person will be repairing his trough by the side of the well in order to fetch water for his camel. Someone will be in peace and security and will have placed his food before him and he will raise a morsel of food towards his mouth to eat. Then suddenly, Israfeel will blow the Trumpet. This is the blowing which will produce terror and fear that will convulse the hearts and extipate the Souls. As a result of this blowing, the souls of all the creatures will depart from their bodies and they will die. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, And the Hour will be established while two men will have spread a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, or fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has ...

On What Day Will The Trumpet be Blown?

The two blowings - the first, which is for swooning and will bring death to living beings; and the second, which is the blowing of the resurrection and rising - will occur on Friday. This is as the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, The best of your days is Friday, on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was taken (in death), on it the trumpet will be blown and on it will be the swomming. So, Say a lot of Salaah on me in it for your Salaah is presented to me. The people present said, O Messenger of Allah, how is out Salaah on you presented to you while you will have decomposed? He said, The earth has been forbidden to derour the bodies of Prophets. The Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, There is no animal but that is listens attentively with its ears on Friday in anticipation of the establishment of the Hour.

The Periode of Time Between The Two Blowings

There is no explicit text specifying the periode of time between the two blowings. However, there is an indication of this in the flolowing hadith of Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam said, There is between the two blowings forty. They (the audience) again, is it forty months He said, I decline. They again asked him, is it forty years? Abu Hurayrah said, I decline. Abu Hurayrah did not specify the number of the forty becayse he did not hear the specification from the Messenger of Allah salla alayhi wa sallam. Then Abu Hurayrah went ahead to complete the narration of the hadith. Then Allah will send down rain from the sky and they (mankind) will sprout just as legumes sprout (from the soil). He continued, There is nothing of the human body that does not decay except one bone; that is the little bone at the end of the coccyx from which the human body will he recreated on the Day of Resurrection.

Blowing of The Trumpet

The blowing of the Trumpet is the first of the events of the establishment of the Hour, the Transformation of the universe and tumult of the world. What is the Trumpet and who will blow into it? How many times will the Trumpet be blowing and what will happen at each blowing? Will all of the creatures be swooned? Proofs of The Blowing of The Trumpet The blowing of the Trumpet is real and will be heard by all the creatures and they will be overwhelmed by the fright and shicj of the great matter. The Quran and Sunnah point to the fact of the blowing of the Trumpet, And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, those whom Allah wills. Then it will blown a second time and behold, they will be standing, looking on (wating). (Surah Az-Zumar: 68) Allah says, And (remember) the Day on which the Trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth, will be terrified except him whom Allah will (exempt)...
